As-Salamu alaykum, Respected Community Members, As we are following ISNA and The Fiqh Council of North America (FCNA) who recognize astronomical calculation as an acceptable Shar’i method for determining the beginning of Lunar months including the months of Ramadan and Shawwal, the Eid prayer will take place on Sunday, June 25th at the University of Missouri Recreation Center(Mizzou Rec Center) North Gym. Entrance to the North Gym (in Mizzou Rec Center 1000 E Rollins St #213, Columbia, MO 65203) doors are facing North to the MU Student Center main entrance. Follow signs and ballons to entrance. The Takbeerat will begin at 8 am and the prayer will begin at 8:30 am. An Eid carnival will follow at the ICCM beginning after Dhur prayer (approx. 2pm). Parents are responsible for watching their children. In order to respect and use the facility in the future, please watch your children do not allow your children to leave the salah area.
