Sheikh Abdullah Waheed, the Islamic Director from Flint, Michigan will be coming to Columbia on May 19th-21st for a weekend of workshops and lectures for our community. More details to come regarding the programs that will take place. The ICCM administration would like to thank all who participated in cleaning the ICCM and working the Open House this past Sunday. It was a great success and Alhamdulillah we saw a significant amount of people from the Columbia Community attended. The new program entitled “Fiqh Essentials” will continue tomorrow after Maghreb at the ICCM. The topic for discussion will be Taharah. Parents & all community members are welcome as well. The ICCM administration is looking for volunteers for the month of Ramadan. If interested in helping please contact Br. Misbahu Ali or sign up on Ramadan signup sheet located in the ICCM. The first phase of landscaping at the ICCM is complete. Phase 2 will soon begin, if interested in volunteering please contact a member of the Operating Council. Dr. Jamil Al-Wekhian will be teaching an online course over the summer that will discuss conflict, conflict resolution and peace in Islam. If interested, please email him at[email protected]. Please sign up to cook food on Sunday evening for the homeless in the St. Francis House. If interested, contact the ICCM Women's Committee. You can also donate $50.00 to the ICCM for the cause.
