Imam Abdullah will discuss the following topics in his Ramadan Daily dars before Ishaa:
The seventh juz of the Qur’an starts at Suratul-Maaidah ayah 82 and goes to Suratul-An’Aam ayah 110.  In these verses, Some of the points that Allah talks about are:
  1. Allah begins this juz by prohibiting us from making haraam what Allah has made halaal from the good things of the earth.  He then prohibits us from transgression and informs us that he does not like the transgressors.  He also commands us to eat from all of the good and halaal things that he has placed on this earth. verses 87-88
  2. Allah prohibits us from intoxicants, gambling, stone alters, and divining arrows.  He informs us that these actions are from the shaytaan.  Shaytaan uses these things to bring about division between the believers and stop them from remembering Allah. Verses 90-91
  3. Allah ends Suratul-Maaidah by talking Isa (Alayhi Salaam).  Allah will remind him on the Day of Judgement about the favors that he bestowed upon him and his mother.  Allah then talks about how the companions of Isa asked for a table spread of food to be sent down upon them.  Allah sent down upon them the table spread.  Allah will ask Isa if it was he that told the people to worship him and his mother besides Allah and Isa will tell him no.    Verses 110-120
  4. Allah begins Suratul-An’Aam by praising himself for he is the one who created the heavens and the earth and made light and dark.  However, there are those who make equals to Allah. verse 1
  5. Allah mentions that if he were to cause harm to you then no one can lift it and if he were to bring you good then no one can take it away from you  verse 17
  6. Allah informs us that this dunya (this life) is nothing but amusement and diversion.  The after life is the true home and is best for those who believe in Allah.    verse 32
  7. Allah tells us the story of Ibraaheem when he gave dawah to his father and his people as well as when he left to give dawah in other towns.  He told his father not to worship other than Allah.  He was a firm believer in Allah and he was an individual who had certain faith. Verses 74-81
May Allah bless all of us and guide us all in our affairs.
