Imam Abdullah will discuss some of the following topics in his Ramadan Daily dars before Ishaa:
The fourth juz of the Qur’an starts at Surat Ali Imraan ayah 93 and goes to Suratun-Nisaa ayah 23. In these verses, Some of the points that Allah talks about are:
- Allah commands the believers to have piety and to fear Allah in a way that he deserves to be feared. Allah then goes on to command us to be together as one group holding on to the rope of Allah and for us not to be divided. verses 102-109.
- Allah commands us to race to his forgiveness and to Paradise. Then he goes on to explain some of the characteristics of the people of Paradise. They give their wealth, repress their anger, forgive the people, and seek forgiveness of their sins. verses 133-136
- Allah informs us that if he gives up help then no one can overcome us. However, if does not help then there is no one who can help you after him. Verse 160
- Allah informs us about the believers during the time of the Ahzaab when the different armies of the non believers came together to be against Islaam. Allah said that the people were advised to fear this massive army. However, they did not fear the army they only said sufficient for us is Allah and his is the best disposer of affairs. verse 173-175
- Allah ends Surat Ali Imraan with mentioning the supplication of those people who have understanding. They admit to believing in Allah and ask for forgiveness and to die upon righteousness. They ask Allah not to disgrace them on the day of judgment. Allah answered their supplication saying that he would never allow any of the work that is done by any of you to be lost. verses 190-195
- Allah begins Suratun-Nisaa by commanding the people to fear Allah. He then commands us how to deal with the orphans and their provisions and their own wealth. Allah also establishes the woman’s right to a dowry upon getting married. verses 1-10
- Allah commands us as to how we are to distribute the wealth of an individual between his/her surviving relatives after he/she has passed away. Allah gives a specific portion to the children, parents, siblings, and spouses. Everyone is given a different portion due to the infinite wisdom of Allah. verses 11-14
- Allah ends this juz with informing us about the women who it is prohibited for us to marry. Our mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, nieces, to be married to two sisters at once, ect…
May Allah bless all of us and guide us all in our affairs.
