We thank our Khatib. May Allah (swt) reward him and his family.
- Brother Emil’s eldest uncle, Tomorr Cankia, has passed away in Albania. We pray for Allah to descend mercy on him and enter him in Jannah.
- Fajr will be at 5:45 AM beginning this Saturday.
- Imam Ahmad El Khaldy will be visiting the ICCM this weekend. He will be holding a series of lectures and programs.
- Mohammad Omar Hussaini will be giving a lecture titled Finding Peace in a Chaotic World, An Islamic Perspective on Harmony and Peace. It will take place today, Friday February 26th at 5:30 PM at Mumford Hall, University of Missouri Campus.
- This month’s Lecture and Community Dinner will be held tomorrow, Saturday February 27th after Isha Prayer with guest speaker Imam Ahmed El Khaldy. The dinner will be sponsored by Dr. Lodhi’s Family and everyone is welcome to attend.
- The deadline for signing up for the Muslim Basketball league will be tomorrow, Saturday February 27th. You can sign up at www.comobasketball.blogspot.com. Registration costs $25, and the draft will take place this Sunday after Maghrib in the Activity Room.
- A 6 week youth basketball program for boy’s ages 10 to 14 years old will begin March 7th at 8AM at Oakland Junior High School.
- A reminder that the Taleem al Quran program takes place every day, 1 hour after Fajr and Asr, and 1 hour before Isha. This is an excellent opportunity to learn to read the Quran.
- The Women’s Committee is looking for volunteers to cook for the St. Francis House each Sunday. Contact them if interested.
- Friday lunches will be available downstairs for $5.
