The Islamic Center of Central Missouri (map) was established in 1983 as a mosque and community center for central Missouri. It has been operating ever since and celebrated it's 25th anniversary in 2008. The mosque is home to a very diverse and dynamic community composed of, among others, indigenous muslims, international students and immigrants.

The Islamic Center welcomes visitors at all times in order foster a culture of tolerance and understanding in central Missouri. The prayer times (shown on frontpage), in particular, are excellent times to visit the center in order to meet local muslims and observe muslim worship. If you do plan a visit to the Islamic Center, please keep in mind to dress modestly (long pants and long sleeved shirts are a good rule of thumb) and be sensitive to Islamic customs.
