The Islamic Center of Central Missouri was established in 1983 as a mosque and community center for central Missouri. It has been operating ever since and celebrated it's 25th anniversary in 2008. The mosque is home to a very diverse and dynamic community composed of, among others, indigenous muslims, international students and immigrants.

The Islamic Center welcomes visitors at all times in order foster a culture of tolerance and understanding in central Missouri. It is located at:

The prayer times (shown on frontpage), in particular, are excellent times to visit the center in order to meet local muslims and observe muslim worship. Alternatively if a visit is not possible, the Islamic Center and/or the local Imaam (leader of congregation) can be contacted through the contact form available on this website. If you do plan a visit to the Islamic Center, please keep in mind to dress modestly and be sensitive to Islamic customs.
